Some customers buy indoor LED display, after a period of time, the company has activities need to be used outdoors, in order to save costs, want to change the indoor LED display to outdoor LED display, is this feasible?
Customers with this idea don't understand LED display. Liancheng can give you a positive answer. It is unrealistic to change the indoor LED display to outdoor use. The reasons are as follows. Please listen to us carefully.
1、 Brightness limitation. Indoor LED display brightness requirements are not high, using a dynamic scanning circuit, outdoor LED display brightness is higher, is a static scanning circuit, the difference between the two hardware.
2、 The water resistance is limited. Indoor LED display structure requires no waterproof or simple waterproof treatment, while outdoor LED display has high waterproof requirements. During production, waterproof treatment is done for cable and box, so the requirements for box structure are different.
3、 Viewing distance limit. Indoor LED displays require close viewing distance, and the models are generally P3, P4, P5, P6, so the area is generally small, within 15 square meters, while outdoor LED displays require a long viewing distance, and the models are generally P10, p16, P20, so its area is larger, generally more than 30 square meters.
Summary: due to the differences in brightness, waterproof treatment and model selection between indoor and outdoor LED displays, the raw materials, accessories, box and other hardware are different at the beginning of production, so it's not easy to change.
